First National Real Estate Board Series overview:
First National Real Estate have become a naming right and event partner for the inaugural Ocean6 Series.
First National Real Estate has been a part of the Summer of Surf for the past three years. The First National Real Estate Board Series became one of the most exciting races with the elite field fighting to take out the coveted title.
Qualification for the 2017/18 First National Real Estate Board Series:
The following athletes have gained automatic qualification into the first three finals of the First National Real Estate Board Series as they placed in the top three last year. They are deemed the “Professionals” and will race in a green rashie.
Men: 1. Jett Kenny, 2. Will Budd, 3. Rhys Burrows.
Woman: 1. Danielle McKenzie, 2. Harriet Brown, 3. Kira Kinsey
At the completion of round three, the professionals will be re-allocated to the overall top three competitors in the 17/18 series. These athletes will automatically qualify into the remaining three finals of the First National Real Estate Series.
All six rounds will have heats to determine the remaining athletes to qualify for the finals. These athletes will be deemed the “Challengers.” The men will race in yellow rashies and the woman in pink. Field size will be determined by race officials on the day depending on conditions. We will be aiming for an ideal final size of 16-19 athletes to allow the greatest chance of qualification for athletes.
The overall First National Real Estate Series Winner:
The overall First National Real Estate Series winner will be the highest accumulated 3 round total.
For events with;
>40 competitors = points allocated for 20 results
>20 competitors = points allocated for 10 results
>10 competitors = points allocated for 8 results
<10 competitors = points allocated for 4 results
Whilst we are working with athletes to create as many opportunities to display personal sponsors as possible, we will need to cover or remove personal sponsors from craft in some cases where an individuals sponsor conflicts with one of our series partners.
We do rely almost entirely on our fantastic partners to create the events, athletes prize pools, and cover broadcast costs for Summer of Surf and need to live up to all of our sponsorship obligations.
Therefore the conditions of registration for each event must be adhered to.
These conditions essentially state that in order to receive any prize monies and points for Ocean6 event finals, all athletes must wear event sponsor race shirts and swimwear (where applicable), place stickers on craft and allow GoPro’s to be attached to race craft when asked.
Athletes that make an Ocean6 final will have the opportunity to purchase a vest to add their personal sponsor. All finalists may apply to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include; athletes name, Series, sponsors name, sponsors industry and sponsors artwork (in vector form).
Upon approval of your application a $60 fee will be required (cost of vest and printing of logo included).
